For God so Loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in him should not Perish, but have everlasting Life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be Saved. He that believes on him is not condemned: but he that does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. ( John 3 : 16 - 18 )

SALVATION

Those three verses to me, are the most wonderful statements of God's Love and Justice for all of mankind, but even more personal, for me and you. When you read them slowly, and really hear the words in your heart, it is very powerful. I certainly have'nt earned or even deserve the kind of Love the verses are speaking of. I don't think any of us have. And, there is no way we can earn salvation. It is a FREE Gift from God. If you have not seen the movie, The Passion of the Christ, by Mel Gibson, I strongly recommend you get it. To think that Jesus, the Son of God, did that for me was overwhelming. My heart was sincerly broken and I wept like a small child, trembling at the wonder of such a powerful Love. And that it was our sins and rebellion against him, that beat him, drove the nails in his hands and feet, and Crucified him on that cross. He gave his life for me that I might live. And he did it for you too. Thats the kind of love God has for us, if we will only believe, ask for forgiveness, and Trust in him.

You might be thinking right now, that you are a good person and you try to do things right and that you don't need Salvation from Jesus. You may be a good person but answer these questions honestly. HAVE YOU EVER TOLD A LIE? - HAVE YOU EVER STOLEN ANYTHING? ( A toy or a piece of candy ) I believe everyone has.

Jesus, talking to his disciples said that if you look upon a woman with Lust, you have committed adultery with her in your heart already. ( The same goes for a woman lusting after a man ) HAVE YOU EVER DONE THAT? I believe everyone has. This is only 3 of the Ten Commandments.

So by your own admission, you are a Lier, a Thief, and an adulterer by heart, and if you died today and stood before GOD, would you be guilty or innocent of breaking God's Laws. You would be Guilty and that means that you would spend Eternity in Hell as punishment. God hates Sin and Sin cannot enter the Kingdom of Heaven.

Lets say that you broke a law and were given the Death penalty for your crime and just before you were to die, your best friend takes your place and dies for you, paying your debt so you won't have too. What would you say to your friend? Would you Thank him?

My dear friend, that is exactly what Jesus did for you and me. He died on the cross for our sins so we could have Eternal Life in Heaven. That is how much God Loves us. That is what Salvation is all about.

The Lord Jesus said to John in Revelation 3 : 20 : " Behold, I stand at the door and knock: If any man hears my voice, and opens the door, I will come in to him." He is saying, Open the door to your Heart and Life, and believe in him, and you will be saved. I want to share with you what the Bible say's, and if you will, allow the word of God to speak to your Heart. That is the only way to know the Truth. The Scriptures below are known as the Roman Road to Salvation. Read each one slowly and carefully, open your heart, and listen. For the Lord is nearer than you think. I pray that you will come to know the Wonderful, Amazing Grace, and Love, your Father in Heaven wants you to have. He truly Loves you very much.

ROMANS 3 : 10

"  As it is written, there is none Righteous, No, not one: "

ROMANS 3 : 23

"For all have sinned, and come short of the Glory of God; "

ROMANS 5 : 12

" Wherefore, as by one man, sin entered into the world, and death by sin; "

ROMANS 6 : 23

" For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through -

Jesus Christ our Lord. "

ROMANS 5 : 8 - 9

" But God commended his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners,

Christ died for us. Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall -

be saved from wrath through him. "

ROMANS 10 : 9

" That if you will confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and believe in your heart,

that God raised him from the dead, you shall be saved. "

ROMANS 10 : 13

" For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. "

The most important decision any one can make is accepting the Lord Jesus into our hearts and lives. Nothing on this earth has as much of an impact, as this. It not only effects your life on earth very dramatically, but more importantly, your eternal destiny. One of the hardest things I had to understand was, I could be forgiven just the way I was. But, there is One in the world today that does not want you to do this. And that is satan. He will do anything to try to keep you from God. And the only reason you are here right now is because God's Power has brought you. It is really amazing, the battle that is being waged against God, and how easy and yet hard it is at the same time to come to know God's Grace. It is hard because the Flesh does not want to let go, and satan knows it. And it is easy, because Jesus has done all that had to be done, in order for us to know God again and be saved. All I had to do was ask for forgiveness from my heart, and truly mean it, and ask Jesus into my life as my Lord and Savior. I have to tell you, When I did that, A total peace fell over me like I have never known, and real joy filled my heart. For once in my life, I knew what real Love, really was. I could not believe why I wasted so many years of my Life, without Him. It is absolutely wonderful, the difference in your life, when you step out of darkness and into the light of Jesus Christ. And Right now is the perfect time to begin again, to start over with God, with a clean slate. Please Don't delay or put it off like satan wants you to. The Bible say's - TODAY is the DAY of SALVATION.

There are no special, repetitative phrases or rituals to say or do that will save you. There is no person on this earth, alive or dead, that can save you, except JESUS CHRIST alone. Jesus said; " I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life. No one comes to the Father, except by me. "- ( John 14 : 6 ) You must believe that with all your heart. You must be totally Honest and Sincere, if you want God to hear you. Only what is truly in your Heart, matters to God. A Prayer is not hard if you just tell God whats in your heart. He already knows everything you have done, so just talk to him about all of it, Confess all your Sins and Ask for his Forgiveness. And if you really mean it, He will. Accept Jesus as Lord, Believe that he died and shed his blood on the cross for you, and that he rose from the dead in 3 days. Ask him to come into your heart and life. If you do that and really mean it, He will. Simply Talk to Him like he is your Best Friend, because after all, He Is. The best prayers I have ever heard, have been the ones that came from a broken heart for God. Remember :

( EarthlyBrokeness, creates Heavenly Openess. ) I know his arms are open, ready to welcome you back. Run to him.

Here is an example of a prayer but it must come from your own mouth and your heart.

Lord Jesus, I know I have done wrong and I want to confess all my sins against you. I believe you Died for me on the Cross for the wrong things I've done, and that you Rose from the Dead and that you are the Son of God. Lord Please Forgive me and help me live the way that you want me to instead of my way. I need you Lord and I love you. I want to be ready when you return to take us home. I don't want to hurt you anymore. I am so sorry for all my sins Lord, Forgive me and come into my heart and my life and be my Lord and Savior. In your mighty name Lord Jesus I pray; Amen
